14/12/12 Noch 10 Tage bis Weihnachten und der Schnee der letzen Woche scheint zu schrumpfen. Wir hatten ein paar richtig anstrengende Tage, Schneefall ohne Ende, Schneeschippen, Schneebollen an den Pfoten, eisige Nächte.... Aber die Hunde waren sauber und wir hatten das Glück auf "Wegen" spazieren zu gehen, die noch völlig unberührt waren. Fotos gibt es einige ;-)
Only 10 more days until Christmas! We got tons of snow during the last week, right now we have around 45 cm/18 inches but as the temperatures are now going up it is dwindling. Walking was fun in a place where you had to guess the roads but with not track in the pure snow. Clearing the driveway and sidewalk without end, snow balls on the paws but at least a few sunny walks in a beautiful clean countryside and most of all: clean and happy dogs. There are quiet a few pictures ;-)

27/11/12 Das ist Dayo einer der Fawnie Söhne von Chocolate und Shannon und ein Bruder von Toffee. Auf diesem Bild sieht er seinem Vater schon sehr ähnlich.

19/11/12 Heute durfte Phil mit den beiden Damen mit ins Altenheim, wo wir wie jeden Montag Ria mit Laika und Hannelore mit Khan getroffen habe. Laika und Baghira haben im Februar 2005 zum ersten Mal das Altersheim besucht,beide sind diesen Sommer 11 geworden, Casper kommt seit 2006 mit, Phil kam im Dez 2007 das erste Mal im Alter von 8 Wochen mit uns, ebenso wie Toffee die seit Juni 2010 dabei ist, Muffin kommt seit Ende 2010 mit. Seit Ende 2010 kommt immer einer der Rüden mit den beiden Hündinnen mit. Nur Chocolate ist immer noch der Ansicht, dass diese Arbeit zu langweilig sei....
Today Phil took the two girls with him to the old peoples home where we met Ria and her Golden Ret. Laika and Hannelore and her Cocker Spaniel Khan. Laika started coming to this place with Baghira in February 2005, both turned 11 this summer, Casper came along in 2006, Phil joined in December 2007 only 8 weeks old, Toffee started the same age in June 2010 and Muffin joined end of 2010. Since Muffin joined I always take one of the boys with the two girls along. Only Chocolate still thinks this is not enough action for him....

Nachdem wir die letzte Woche fast nur Nebel hatten, war heute der erste Tag fast völlig ohne Nebel. Zumindest bei uns am Berg gab es schon heute Früh keinen mehr, aber unten im Dorf hing er noch über der Donau. Aber unseren Mittagsspaziergang haben wir bei herrlichem Wetter gemacht.
As we had for for most of last week, today was the first day without any. At least up on our hill there wasn't any even early in the morning. Only down in the village there was fog along the Danube. At least we were able to have a lovely walk at noon in the sunshine
